A double glazed adaption of the popular Optima 36 partition, allowing for higher acoustic needs without compromising on style. For offices with varying acoustic requirements, Optima 36 in its double glazed form integrates seamlessly with the single glazed version.
A simple 25mm extruded aluminium head channel is all that is required.
To maintain a consistent appearance, as with the head condition, the base and abutments comprise a simple 25mm deep extruded aluminium channel.
The use of dry-glazing in the Optima 36 system makes it quick and easy to install, without compromising on durability, aesthetics or acoustic performance. Discrete Ghost dry joints ensure a seamless appearance.
Optima 36 Double Glazed can accommodate a variety of glass thicknesses to suit the acoustic rating that you need to achieve. As with all of our products, the system is laboratory tested for acoustic performance in a UKAS accredited laboratory and full test reports are available upon request.
Optima 36 can achieve Rw37dB with 2 layers if 10mm toughened glass and Rw43dB with 2 layers of 13.14mm thick acoustic laminated glass. The acoustic test is conducted on a full height, multi-module screen with glazing joints and perimeter track-work; not simply a ‘window’ in a smaller sized opening. Testing samples using the latter method will generally give an artificially higher acoustic rating result and any results obtained in this way should be treated with great caution.
The Optima 36 system has a range of options for the seamless integration of doors, including the Optima 36 door available with a concealed door closer. This can be customised to fit your needs whether acoustic or suited to visual privacy.
