Optima is made up of several different legal entities details of which can be found here, This privacy notice is issued on behalf of these companies and us so when we mention “Optima”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy notice, we are referring to the relevant company in the Optima Group .

Each Optima Group entity has its own website and reference to “our site” means this  website as well as any other website of Optima Group entities you are browsing and/or accessing for whatever purposes .

Which country’s laws apply to any disputes?

If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law and (where applicable) all applicable personal data protection laws of your jurisdiction. In the event of conflict of personal data protection laws, the choice of personal data protection law shall be decided by the relevant Optima Group entity with which you registered as a user in its absolute discretion. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

If you are a business, these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law and (where applicable) all applicable personal data protection laws of your jurisdiction. In the event of conflict of personal data protection laws, the choice of personal data protection law shall be decided by the relevant Optima Group entity with which you registered as a user in its absolute discretion. We both agree that Optima shall have choice of exclusive jurisdiction of courts shall be decided by the relevant Optima Group entity with which you registered as a user in its absolute discretion.
